Very good service from Writer Claire, very professional and helpful with much in the way of useful advice. I highly recommend Claire to those who want a slick and professional experience.

My experience was marred by the advice at the outset before reaching Claire to take a bundle of 2 CVs. However, the 2nd CV was redundant and therefore a waste of money. Make the right decision for you and be clear about what you want or you may feel a little cheated. This was compounded by a hard sell of ATS optimization for a 'Limited Time Only'. Because of the bad advice at the outset I cannot trust that taking this service is worth it.

Paid for an extra CV based on their initial assessment of my varied roles, but this CV was barely different from the first one. A complete waste of money, in fact I feel ripped off as they did not understand my initial brief nor did the sales person take the time to try and understand the brief, she spoke at me, not to me simply telling me what their services were, it was not a discussion. One star goes to the fact that Writer Claire was very professional and tried to salvage the situation, failed but at least tried - it is just that this 2nd CV was entirely unnecessary given that it is not truly an additional different CV.

After agreeing to the CV writing assignment, I was advised that my CV should be assigned to a more senior resource suited for Advance Career however I need to pay more for that.

I did not agree to the additional fees and was told that the assigned agent would take care.

Unfortunately, I did not feel the CV was good enough so I have now asked another CV writing expert, she has sent me a second draft and I expect to finalise by tomorrow.

Waste of AED 450

As an international applicant with 15 years of work history, who has newly discovered that global resume format has different qualities, I have searched for resume writing companies and contacted for free resume review (I am grateful to all of them for free review opportunities, in addition the tips they provide). James Innes Group explained me all detailes on the phone (I have already left one review related with this first step) which made me sure that this is the right company to work with. I requested a new resume, cover letter and Linkedin profile.

First I was requested to chose a template and express my needs and based on that one of the resume writers was assigned to me. I'd liek to thank Ozzy, too. I had a chance to review the first draft and make my comments. However the collaboration with Ozzy did not continue due to technical reasons and I was assigned to work with Claire.

Working with Claire was wonderful. We did not waste time on explaining too long what I am looking for in my resume and cover letter. She took the inititative to change the template in accordance with my experience and background, personally approached to my needs and gave me a lot of explanations and information which helped me to navigate (it is very important for me). 2 resume drafts were enough.

The cover letter is very rich and editible. Little more about the cover letter I wrote in my other reviews.

I expected the Linkedin profile instructions to be a couple pages. But it came as a rich document with a lot of necessary information, tips and guidance.

If to summarize alongside with receiving the requested documents, I received the necessary guidance and explanation which helped me to understand why, when, where :) The only uncomfortable side is you need little patience, since communication goes through email registration/passcode system in the portal of the company for transparency purposes and you can't communicate with writers personally and quickly via your own email for faster results. Now I think that it is good, since the writers need time to do their job as it is a creative process.

I greatly reccommend James Innes Group for resume, cover letter and Linkedin profile writing and will cooperate with them in future with great pleasure.

I have used the service 3 times in total. The last two recent times has been a complete disappointment. I have been looking for a career change and yet only get calls or interest from my previous background, some of the tasks are literally the ones I had already added and some are repeated. I wanted a brand new CV for a career change and instead some new things were added to an already existing CV. I don't know what more to say £149.00 later and nothing from any industry.

I used this service for updating my CV. Several times I was struggling to review my CV when a new job opportunity appeared. Although it seems to be something simple or easy, write about yourself and put in words everything you have in mind about your profile and career in an objective and attractive way is very challenging. This is the first time I hired a professional writer to help me and I am really happy with the result.
